Company Profile

Information & Simulation Systems (InforSim) was originally started as a small engineering consulting company in 1985. The early focus of the company was applied ocean science and ocean engineering, which remain a major part of our business. Over time, we have evolved into a more diverse, advanced technology company providing services to a wide range of commercial, government, and research organizations. Current application areas include health sciences and financial analysis where we see both the need and the opportunities to apply our expertise to help solve a variety of important problems.

Many of our company’s projects have involved the practical application of operations research and applied mathematics including optimization theory, dynamic programming, linear and nonlinear programming, Bayesian networks, optimal control, and applied probability models. The company specializes in the development and application of sophisticated computational models and the delivery of custom software programs. We have applied our background in system engineering gained from early experience in the aerospace industry to organize our team’s efforts and to focus on satisfying customer objectives.
